1,100 Pounds of Styrofoam Collected

Volunteers at Grace Congregational Church collected about 1,100 pounds of styrofoam on Saturday during the town-wide Earth Day celebration.

Volunteers collected about 1,100 pounds of Styrofoam at recycyling event on saturday. the event was one of a handful held throughout town as part of an Earth Day Celebration.

"This event would not have been possible without the hard work of the volunteers from Grace Church," said organizer

Tomorrow, is having its first Environmental Fair.

Sherman said "ReFoamIt has been asked to attend and bring our truck to collect Styrofoam at the Fair.  Our truck will be parked outside the front door and we will collect Styrofoam and Plastic Utensils.  As always, please keep the utensils separate from the Styrofoam."

Framingham residents may drop off Styrofoam between 6 and 7:30 p.m. at Potter Road Elementary tomorrow, May 4.
