5 Places to Donate
If you are looking for a charity to contribute to, we have compiled five local organizations in need.
1. Salvation Army - Offers assistance, recreational, educational and social programs all year, but this time of year the Salvation Army provides thousands of children and individuals with Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, winter coats, clothing, toys and gifts. They also offer financial assistance in the form of vouchers for utilities, rent, and food. How to help The Salvation Army.
2. Timothy's Toy Drive - Come to O'Connell's Pub, tonight, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m., and celebrate with Framingham Baseball for our annual toy drive. The Framingham Fire Department along with Timothy's Toy Box will be delivering the toys to Framingham kids in need.
3. Santa's Little Sports - The Parks & Recreation Department is collecting toys for children ages birth to 10. If you would like to donate a gift or money, please drop it off at the Parks & Recreation office before Dec. 16, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.. For more info, call 508.532.5960
4. Sullivan Tire "Toys for Tots" drive - Once again this holiday season, Sullivan Tire will participate in the Toys for Tots program by collecting new, unwrapped toys at 157 Union Ave, Framingham. Customers and employees can drop off toys through Dec. 12. The toys will be distributed to needy children in the community by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.
5. Wayside Youth & Family Support Network - Provides a wide range of counseling, family support, residential and educational services for youth and families in the community. Ways to help & Wish List
