5 Things You Need To Know Today: Dec. 10

Godspell auditions at Amazing Things, St. George Catholic Church's God of This City tour, library's Middle School Homework Center and teen advisory council's youth craft workshop featured in today's column.

 

Our daily column, 5 Things You Need to Know Today, will help you to get your day started and offer you some fodder for water cooler conversation.

1. The main Framingham Library's Middle School Homework Center is open today from 3 to 6 p.m. On Saturday, the library's new teen advisory council organized a youth craft workshop, where students in grades 6-12 could attend and make free craft gifts for family and friends.

2.  St George Catholic Church will host the GOD of THIS CITY TOUR Young adults, families, teens and the public are invited to this free event from 7 to 9 p.m. for an evening of live praise and worship music and Christian fellowship. Featuring  is contemporary music, the guest speaker is Father Matt Williams.

3. Amazing Things Arts Center is holding auditions for Godspell, the musical from 7-9 tonight and 6-8 tomorrow night. They are auditioning for five male and five female roles, ages 12 and older. Be prepared to sing 16 bars of music preferably but not necessarily from the show. Click here for additional information.

4.  Framingham Self Storage on Fountain Street is holding a public Storage Auction at 2 to 3 p.m.

5. Framingham Cultural Council will meet tonight at 7:30 at the Parks & Recreation office.
