5 Things You Need to Know Today: Dec. 18 [Video]

1. Steve March Torme, one of Mel Torme's sons, has followed in his father  footsteps, becoming a singer and songwriter. He will perform today at Amazing Things Arts Center at 3 p.m. Tickets are $35, $33 for students and seniors and $30 for members.

2. Mass Ballet of Framingham will perform The Nutcracker" at 1 p.m. at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School in Sudbury. Tickets still available at $15.

3. Still looking for a unique gift for someone on your list? Check out the PRESENT COMPANY Members' Show and Holiday Sale at Fountain Street Fine Arts gallery today. Doors open at 11 a.m.

4. Today is International Migrants Day. The global observance, sponsored by the United Nations, is recognized annually on Dec. 18, to note the efforts, contributions and rights of migrants worldwide.

5. Listen to St. Bridget’s Christmas Festival Choir, directed by Monsignor Strahan, perform a Christmas concert at 3 p.m. at St. Bridget Church. Tickets available at St. Bridget rectory. Adults $5. Children free.
