1. The Sierra Club is hosting a free screening of the documentary The End of Suburbia at the main Framingham Library at 2:30 p.m. "After WWII, our country invested heavily into suburbs. With global oil peak and inevitable decline of fossil fuels upon us now, what is the future of this oil-dependent way of life?" This short documentary is about the end of the age of cheap oil. 2. Framingham Democrats will hold its annual caucus to elect delegates to the
Democratic State Convention today, Feb. 26 at Nevins Hall inside the Memorial Building. Registration is at noon. Call to order at 1 p.m. To participate you must have been registered as a democrat by 12/31/11, and sign in between noona nd 1 p.m. Massachusetts elected officials and Democratic candidates have been invited to attend and meet with the voters during the registration hour. A Framingham Democratic Town Committee Business Meeting will be held
directly after the Caucus. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishables to donate to A Place to Turn. The chair for the Framingham Democratic Town Committee is Tom Mahoney.

4. Purim celebrates the courage to speak up, like Esther did when she foiled the plot of Haman. Today, come in costume to the MetroWest Jewish Day School  for a fun and hilarious interactive puppet show! They'll sing and march in a costume parade, make Purim puppets, and eat hamantaschen. The Puppet Purim Shpiel (play) begins at 10 a.m Admission $15 per family. Pre-registration was encouraged at bostonjcc.org/metrowest.
