5 Things You Need To Know Today: Feb. 3

It's Super Bowl Sunday.

 

Our daily column, 5 Things You Need to Know Today, will help you to get your day started and offer you some fodder for water cooler conversation.

1. It's Super Bowl Sunday. Unfortunately, the New England Patriots are not in Big Easy for the game. So, Framingham do you plan to watch the game? If yes, cheering on the 49ers or the ravens? Tell us in the comments. Super Bowl XLVII starts at 6:30 p.m. CBS coverage of the big game begins at 1 p.m. with "Super Bowl Today" until 5 p.m.The kick-off show begins at 5 p.m.

2. Today is the first Sunday of the month, so the Danforth Museum of Art will hold its drop in event from 2 to 4 p.m. 

3. There is public skating at Loring Arena today at 2 p.m. Admission $5.

4. Fifth Ave Liquors is wrapping up its Italian wine sale today. The Old Conn Path store is offering 25% off all Italian wine purchases of 6 bottles or more.

5. Finally, hundreds packed Village Hall Saturday morning to honor the late Steve Orr. Framingham Patch will have a report posted soon on the tributes.
