5 Things You Need To Know Today: Friday, July 13

FREE museum admission today, rock & roll on the green, God on stage and Internal Combustion all featured in today's column.

 

Our daily column, 5 Things You Need to Know Today, will help you to get your day started and offer you some fodder for water cooler conversation.

1. Sponsored by the Highland Street Foundation Free Fun Friday offers free admission to museums and attractions through Massachusetts in the summer. Today the Danforth Museum in Framingham is free to all from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

2. Summer Concerts on the Green continue tonight at 6:30 with the XRB, an Rock & Roll band taking the stage. Bring a blanket and a picnic. Stop by the Framingham Patch table.

3. Visit the Fountain Street Fine Art gallery today between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. to view Internal Combustion: a Juried Art Exhibit.

4. Tonight is opening night for God of Carnage at Amazing Things Arts Center.

5. The second and third levels of the Lexington Street garage, located next to the main Framingham Library is closed. Only the lowest level can be used for parking.
