5 Things You Need To Know Today: March 12

The Town-Wide PTO will host a Candidates Forum tonight at 7 at Framingham High.

 

Our daily column, 5 Things You Need to Know Today, will help you to get your day started and offer you some fodder for water cooler conversation.

1. Congrats to the Framingham High School Cheerleaders who qualified for Nationals Sunday.

2. The Town-Wide PTO hosts a Candidates Forum tonight at 7 at Framingham High.

3. There is a Free Yoga Class for Veterans at Edwards Church at 6 p.m.

4. Weather forecasters say temperatures will reach 60 degrees today, and maybe even 70 degrees.

5. One hundred years ago, on March 12, 1912, Juliette Low held the first Girl Scout meeting in Savannah, Georgia. To commemorate this historic event, all Girl Scouts, girls and adults, are invited to say the Girl Scout Promise at the same time in a symbolic event called a “Promise Circle.” Natick and Framingham Girl Scouts will hold a Promise Circle Celebration at 7 tonight on the Natick Common.
