Cameron PTO yard sale, new art exhibit and reception with the artists at Fountain Street Fine Art and final performance of Disney's Beauty & the Beast Jr. and Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat featured in today's column.
Our daily column, 5 Things You Need to Know Today, will help you to get your day started and offer you some fodder for water cooler conversation.
1. The Friends of the Framingham Library will hold its monthly book sale today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Members can shop early at 9:30 a.m.
2. Cameron Middle School PTO is holding a yard sale from 8 a.m. to noon today.
3. Check out A Sense of Place art exhibit at Fountain Street Fine Art gallery from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. In this exhibit, 13 artists of of the gallery explore ways the concept of place impacts their work in a group exhibition. There is a reception with the artists, from 5-7, open to the public tonight.
4. Today is the final performance for Hemenway Elementary School's production of Disney's Beauty and The Beast Jr. Tickets are $8 for children and $10 for adults at the door. Curtain goes up at 2 p.m. The musical stars the fifth grade students at the elementary school.
5. Tonight is the final night for Framingham High School Drama Company's production of Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Curtain goes up at 7:30 p.m., but we hear there are less than a handful of tickets left, if any at all.

While last night's show for Beauty & the Beast Jr. at Hemenway was sold out, there are a few tickets available for today's 2 p.m. show at the door - organizers tell Patch.
