1. Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Shoppers World is holding an Elf on the Shelf "Adoption" and Storytime at 7 p.m. The event is free.
2. The Framingham Garden Club will hold its annual Winter Green Sale today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and tomorrow, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cushing Memorial Park maintenance building. For sale will be winter and holiday decorations personally crafted by garden Club members, including centerpieces, swags, wreaths, etc.
3. More than 40 artists will open their studios to display and sell works tonight from 5:30 to 9 and tomorrow, Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fountain Street Studios in South Framingham. In addition to original works of art, such as painting, photography, fabric art, prints, and handcrafted jewelry, visitors will enjoy musical performances, portrait demonstrations and book signings. Participants range from emerging to internationally recognized artists. Admission is free.
4. Massachusetts Auditor Suzanne Bump is speaking at the MetroWest Chamber's TD Bank Breakfast Series at 7:45 a.m. at the Sheraton Framingham.
5. Also at Fountain Street Studios tonight, local authors and McCarthy Elementary School third grade teachers James L. Parr and Kathy Kenney-Marshall will sign copies of their newest books between 5:30 and 9 at Damianos Photography/Publishing located on the fourth floor east.
