AAA: Gas Prices Up 31 Cents Over the Past Month
Gas prices increased 4 cents last week, according to AAA Southern New England's weekly survey.
AAA’s Feb. 18 survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.729 per gallon, four cents higher than a week ago.
Prices locally are up 31 cents over the past month. The current price is a cent below the national average for self serve unleaded of $3.73. A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was $3.60.
The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 28 cents, from a low of $3.59 to a high of $3.87.
