Accumulating Snow Possible Wednesday Night [Poll]

National Weather Service says a winter weather advisory may be needed.

An approaching storm from the Southwest, along with a rush of cold air from the North, may combine to give the region, including Framingham, its first snow accumulation since October on Wednesday night, the National Weather Service says.

Many woke up to a dusting Tuesday morning, but this storm may bring more.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a moderate to high probability that a winter weather advisory will be needed late Wednesday night into Thursday for accumulating snow and/or ice.

The track is the approaching storm is still uncertain, but the NWS says confidence of wintry precipitation is increasing.

A winter weather advisory is issued for a combination of snow, sleet, and/or freezing rain. Advisories, in general, are issued for weather conditions that are expected to cause significant inconveniences and may be hazardous. These situations are normally not life threatening if caution is exercised.
