Anti-Sexist Male Activist Speaking at Framingham State Tuesday
The public is invited to hear the author of The Macho Paradox: Why Some Men Hurt Women and How All Men Can Help Tuesday on the university campus.
Dr. Jackson Katz, one of America’s leading anti-sexist male activists, will speak about Men, Women, Sex and Violence Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the McCarthy Center Forum on the campus of Framingham State University.
The public is invite to the free presentation.
Katz co-founded the Mentors In Violence Prevention program, the leading gender violence prevention initiative in professional and college athletics.
He has contributed to several educational videos including Tough Guise: Violence, Media, and the Crisis in Masculinity (2000), Wrestling With Manhood (2002) and Spin the Bottle: Sex, Lies and Alcohol (2004).
Katz is the author of The Macho Paradox: Why Some Men Hurt Women and How All Men Can Help (2006).
