Assistant Principals Named At Brophy, Barbieri, Hemenway, McCarthy
These first assistant principals at the four elementary schools were recommended to the superintendent by the principals of their respective schools.
Framingham elementary school students will stride through the doors of four local elementary schools under the leadership of new assistant principals come August, said Paula Ceglowski, director of human resources for the Framingham Public Schools.
- Jennifer Faber will assist Principal Susan McGilvray-Rivet at Barbieri Elementary
- Sara Cummins will assist Principal Frank Rothwell at Brophy Elementary
- Liz Simon will be the new assistant at Hemenway Elementary
- Jean Nolan will assist Principal Matthew Hanlon at McCarthy Elementary
These assistant principals were recommended to the superintendent by the principals of their respective schools, Ceglowski said.
Faber comes from five years of teaching in Sudbury and as a public school teacher for three years.
Cummins has been a Framingham teacher since 2004.
Simon has been with Framingham public schools since January 1987.
Nolan has been part of the Framingham public school system for the past 14 years.
