Framingham Patch Storm Central Updates, Closings & More:

As the storm rolls through Framingham, we will update this page with the information you need to know.

Weather forecasters say we will get at least a foot of snow, some are predicting two feet and one has even said possibly 30 inches of snow.

The good news, according to WHDH-TV, is that this will be light and fluffy snow.

The storm has been called Nemo by the Weather Channel, who started naming storms this year.

A Blizzard Watch was issued Wednesday for Framingham. We already began posting cancellation at that link, but will add those to this report.

Know of a cancellation because of the weather? Let us know and we'll add it in the text, or you can add it yourself in the comments.

Once the blizzard is underway, report poor road conditions or downed trees/impassable streets, here. We'll do the same.

If you notice hazardous conditions, please alert authorities and then let us know so we can spread the word quickly.

Please use this story on Framingham Patch to help out your neighbors.

In an emergency, dial 911

Here are other numbers you may need:

  • NSTAR: 1-800-592-2000 (to report gas and electric outages)
  • Verizon: 1-800-VERIZON (1-800-837-4966) (to report outages)
  • Mass211: Call 2-1-1 for shelter and non-emergency information

Big thanks for the Framingham DPW who decided that plowing in our driveway for the fifth time today was a great idea.

Nothing like watching my 6Month Pregnant Wife-To-Be become more and more frustrated and anquished, each time we get plowed in. Going from a close to clear driveway to a 2 1/2ft Wall of snow at the edge of our driveway is beyond unacceptable. The DPW and their staff should really take a close look at their routes and think through their protocols. I mean how difficult is it to notice that the plow is leaving two foot swaths of snow in front of access points?
