Building Jerusalem Brick-by-Brick With LEGOs

The MetroWest Jewish Day School held a fun event, in which families from the school and the community, constructed Jerusalem, the Old City, with 60,000 LEGOs.

More than 100 people constructed Jerusalem, the Old City, brick-by-brick -- with LEGOs at the MetroWest Jewish Day School this afternoon.

With the help of architect Stephen W. Schwartz, families from the school and the community, using more than 60,000 LEGO blocks, constructed the Old City of Jerusalem.

It was a great intergenerational event with grandparents, parents, and children.

The event was organized by Tara Kent, who has a second grade son at the , and soon-to-be kindergarten daughter.

Schwartz gave a detailed description of the Old City after the construction was completed.
