In terms of health care, several committee members voiced that they wanted a single-payer system, where the government would pay for citizen’s health care.

While both Warren and Conroy showed their support and liking for such a system, Conroy said a single payer system was not feasible both politically and economically.

A concern voiced by audience members was how much corporate campaign donations would influence the candidate’s stances on popular issues. Warren said he would only accept donations from corporations who shared his philosophies. Conroy said he has never accepted corporate donations and hopes to keep it that way during his bid to be senator.
