Actually I would like to give him one, three stooges style, that would knock that smugness right off his face.

As a regular Patch contributor I see and often ignore a lot. Particularly as pertains to politics, you may have noticed that comments were disabled for the galleries of the candidate's photos, simply because I didn't want to have to delete partisan blather. Rather, I just left it comment disabled. Sadly, those with the least to say are generally the ones who shout first and loudest.

Paul, My experiences here at the Patch have been much the same. I thought the comments section was supposed to be for discussion and airing of opinions. Not for the ridicule of those that have one! It's why I dont spend a lot of time here anymore. Its just not worth it to me. I do wonder how most of these people post incessantly and are able to lead a "normal" life. And the fact that ANYONE would belittle someone with a disease is not only disturbing, but amoral. Shame on the Patch editors for letting that one slip through!

Mary....Thanks! Is there a number that will automatically delete a comment if that many people flag it?
