UPDATED: Child, 5, Struck by Car Driven by Framingham Woman
Witnesses told Framingham Police the girl ran out into the street without looking, said Lt. Ron Brandolini.

A Framingham woman, 32, struck a 5-year-old girl yesterday afternoon, according to Framingham Police.
Witnesses told police the girl ran out into the street without looking, said Framingham Police Lt. Ron Brandolini.
The child was struck by the vehicle's side mirror. Her injuries are unknown.
She was taken to Children's Hospital in Boston via ambulance.
There are no citations at this time, said Lt. Brandolini.
As Framingham Patch reported yesterday, the incident happened at the corner of Kendall Ave. and Alla St. near the Wilson Elementary School neighborhood.

Report of a pedestrian, a child, age unknown, struck at the corner of Kendall Ave and Alla St. just after 4:30 p.m.
Report has child now conscious and alert. Requested medical helicopter could not fly due to weather. Child transported to Boston hospital via ambulance.
Framingham Police and Framingham Fire on the scene.

Hope the child is ok and does not have lasting effects. Sadly, it feels like it's only been a matter of time until this happened. We fear it in my neighborhood with people speeding through.
