Democrats To Honor Norma Shulman As Volunteer of the Year

Framingham Democratic Town Committee will present Norma Shulman with the first ever volunteer award and host a state-wide inaugural celebration event on Saturday, Jan. 12.

Norma Shulman will be honored with the first-ever Volunteer of the Year award by the Framingham Democratic Committee for her efforts during the 2012 elections.

Shulman will receive her award during a state-wide inaugural celebration sponsored by the Framingham Democratic Committee Saturday, Jan. 12 at Temple Beth Am from 7 to 11:30 p.m.

"For years Norma has been a tireless advocate for our party and our candidates," said Cheryl Tully Stoll.

Shulman was extremely active in Elizabeth Warren's senate campaign. And when the senator-elect came to Framingham last month she helped wish Shulman a very happy birthday.

Next weekend's event is also a state-wide inaugural celebration for the Massachusetts Democratic Party. Tickets are on sale but selling fast.

A buffet meal will be served and live entertainment will be provided by the band Nobscot. Tickets are $25 per person.

Congratulations to Norma. She is well deserving of public recognition. It's just like her to have a "first" (since this being the first volunteer of the year award).

Norma is an indefatigable champion of so many things and I am thrilled to see her honored. I am only sorry that we are unavailable that night otherwise we would be cheering her on in person!
