Discussion on Medicare, Affordable Health Care at Callahan Center Friday
U.S. Health and Human Services Regional Director Christie Hager and Massachusetts Secretary of Elderly Affairs Ann L. Hartstein will meet with Framingham Seniors at the Callahan Center Friday, July 29 at 10:30 a.m.

U.S. Health and Human Services Regional Director Christie Hager and Massachusetts Secretary of Elderly Affairs Ann L. Hartstein will meet with Framingham Seniors at the Callahan Senior Center Friday, July 29 at 10:30 a.m.
Hager and Hartstein will discuss Medicare and the Affordable Care Act. Hager will specifically address the new benefits provided by the Affordable Care Act and answer senior’s questions about their Medicare, the strength of Medicare going forward and the new preventive benefits provided by the Affordable Care Act. Hartstein will discuss the relationship of the Affordable Care Act to state programs.
Afterwards, both will take questions from participants and invited media.
Partners for this event will include the Framingham Council on Aging, the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs, the SHINE (Serving the Health Information of Elders) program as well as the USDHHS, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Administration on Aging.
