Hundreds of area residents gathered at the MetroWest Academy of JiuJitsu in Natick on Friday to support the martial arts schools' effort to fight prostate cancer.

Paul DiRienzo, the academy's owner, estimated the event would raise $5,000 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

More than 160 attendees in four age groups played in a dodgeball tournament while observers bidded on items donated by area corporate sponsors.
