Donor Gives Half Million Dollars to Danforth Museum of Art
This is the largest donation given to the downtown Framingham Museum, which wishes to move to the Maynard Building.
The Danforth Museum of Art announced a $500,000 gift from an anonymous donor.
The Museum announced earlier this year it wants to move from its current location to a floor in the Maynard Building, near the historic common and the Framingham History Center.
In July, the Museum received a $30,000 grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, it has been working with Ann Beha Architects on a moving plan.
