First Framingham Special Education Parents Advisory Council Meeting is Thursday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m.

Learn how assistive technology can help you child at the first Framingham Special Education Parents Advisory Council meeting Thursday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. at the King Building.

These devices help individuals who cannot express themselves verbally communicate with their peers, teachers, caregivers and with the world. This technology changes rapidly, and it can be difficult to know which device to choose for your child.

Aaron Shute, an assistive technology consultant with Saltillo Corp, will be the guest speaker at the F-SEPAC meeting. He will be talking about personal communication devices and answering questions. This will be a casual and interactive evening with ample hands-on time with the devices.

The Framingham Special Education Parents Advisory Council (F-SEPAC) meetings are open to any parents who has a child in special education services in town.
