UPDATE: Flyers B Football To Play For New England Championship
Sunday, the Framingham Flyers will play in the New England Championship game against the Hartford Wildcats of Connecticut, with the winner moving on to the national playoffs in Florida.

The Framingham Flyers continue to make history for the Town of Framingham as the 7th Grade B Team defeated the undefeated New Hampshire Champions, Bedford Jaguars, 28-0.
The wins means, Framingham will now play in the New England Championship game against the Hartford, Ct. Wildcats on Saturday Nov. 26 at 3 p.m. at Doyle Field in Leominster. The winner will get a spot in the national playoffs in Florida.
In this weekend's win against Bedford, N.H., Framingham won the toss and got the ball on the 35 yard line. Runningback Charles James set the tone right away by ripping off a 65-yard touchdown run on the first play. Both center Simon Stock and guard Jimmy Santiago made crushing blocks to spring James. Framingham kicker Danny Bicalho put the two point conversion through the uprights to give Framingham a 8-0 lead.
While the offense was amazing all game, so was the Flyers 4-4 defense. On the next set of downs Framingham stopped the Jaguars on three plays led by defensive tackle Jake Blummer, noseguard Shaheer Sutton and middle linebacker Kenny Butterfeld.
It did not take Framingham long to score again. On their second offensive play from scrimmage, runningback Edrick Bodley took the reverse hand off 60 yards down the right sideline running, over two players, for the Flyers second touchdown of the game.
Offensive linemen Marcus Elysee and Ifeanyi Egesi had key blocks on this play and once again kicker Bicalho drove his kick through the uprights for a 2 point conversion to make the score 16-0 in favor of the Flyers.
With the score 16-0, the Flyers defense took over the rest of the game. The defense got huge games from many players this week including defensive end Josh Davis who recorded three sacks. Linebacker Charles James had a sack and 8 tackles.
Defensive end Christian Dardompre had a sack and a dozen tackles. Corner back Alex Ramos had seven tackles. Defensive tackle Jimmy Santiago had a sack and 14 tackles.
Safety Orlando Rosario batted three balls down, while Edrick Bodley and Kenny Butterfeld each had 19 tackles.
Noseguard Shaheer Sutton made 9 tackles, Jake Blummer made six tackles while cornerback Simon Stock had five tackles.
On a third and eight play, Edrick Bodley made four cuts that all the Jaguars players missed him on and cut the ball to the outside. While the cornerback and safety came up to make the tackles and dove at his legs and ankles, Bodley jumped 3 feet in the air, over both defenders, and continued down the field before he stepped out of bounds at the 23 yard line.
Both Orlando Rosario and Joe Tolson carried the ball to move the Flyers offense to the 5 yard line where Bodley scored his second touchdown of the game and put the Flyers up 22-0 to go into the half.
Offensive lineman Anthony Parisi, Jose Mullins, Will Melusi, Dylon Dion, Mike Stouraras and Jimmy Mancini made great blocks to help the Flyers with their third score of the game.
While the defense pitched their second shutout in the playoffs, and the fifth of the season; the offense was just as dominant.
In the middle of the third quarter, Christian Dardompre broke a run of 59 yards for the Flyers fourth touchdown of the game. Jared Brockaway and Aaron James made key blocks.
On special teams, Jose Mullins and Jimmy Santiago continue to be huge sparks for the Flyers, along with the more than 100 die hard fans who made the trek to New Hampshire for the game.
“These kids got the attitude and desire every coach looks for in his players. It took all 31 kids for this win today as every player has a role on this team, said assistant head coach and defensive coordinator Jason Smith said. "The hour and half bus ride was a time where the kids talked about the importance of winning this game and executing the game plan. They had the determination to go out and play 40 minutes of physical football, and they showed the whole coaching staff they meant business."

There is no shame in the Confederate Flag.
It has been made shameful by people like you that have no clue what it stands for.
The people of the South have a perfect right to fly that flag as the Northerners have the perfect right to fly theirs.
You obviously are under the wrong presumption that the war with the Confederacy was over slavery.
This book and many others put that false concept to rest.

The Civil War was the worst things ever to happen in the United States. We are fortunate that the outcome left the nation in tact. The Confederate flag is hurtful to many. Why would anyone want to fly it? Why would any town want to promote it? Would it be ok if Walpole put Swastikas on their uniforms too? Oh wait, I forgot who I was talking to.

None Nowhere is commenting on the fact that a resident of Walpole, who lives next to the High School football field has a large Confederate flag on his property facing the football field. None Nowhere obviously doesn't understand the whole story and shouldn't accuse the entire town of racism. Walpole's nickname is the Rebels and they used to have that flag in their school's logo, but decided to omit it about 20 years ago out of respect for those who are offended by that flag because it has been used by hate groups in recent decades. Walpole has asked him to remove it for years and he has refused. It is his first ammendment right to have that flag on his property. It is unfortunate because it certainly does offend some people. Nobody should feel offended that way when they go to a youth or High school football game.

@ Jim, ur a sad sight and I'm sure if I had a Black Panther flag facing your kids football game you would try to burn it down... ANYWAYS.... Flyers won and are en route to Orlando to play for the National Title..
