Flyers Finish Second in Massachusetts Pentathlon

For the second year in a row, the Framingham High boys track team finished second in the Massachusetts State Coaches Team Pentathlon.

 

For the second year in a row, Framingham High boys track team finished second in the Massachusetts State Coaches team. And for the second year in a row, Newton North won.

"We had some great performances from a young squad," said head coach Chris Collins.

In the 55 hurdles, captain Luke Halberstadt finished in 8.71 seconds.

In the long jump, sophomore Tiago Torres jumped 17-feet and 7-inches.

Senior Brian Gilligan ran the 1000 in 2:47 minutes.

Senior captain Andrew Petricone threw the shot put 41-feet, 7-inches.
