There are two structures - Marist House at 45,144 square feet and Bishop's Hall at 4,933 square feet. Both are viewed by Wyman Street as a potential dormitory-style residential properties.

Here it is, the perfect opportunity for a developer to build a 55+ complex! Framingham so desperately needs affordable 55+ patio style homes for the people who would like to stay in Framingham but just can not afford the cost of a single family home! What developer will be the first one to grab this parcel?

Hmm... that's a good idea, Margaret. But, I was thinking this would be a wonderful campus for a school. Maybe a charter school looking to expand?

I agree with Andrea -- it would be a GREAT place for a Charter school.

School? The way Framingam is going it could be the first ALL foreign language school. We already are preparing to teach the teachers with the FSU grant.
Believe me.... it would fill up pretty fast if the word got out.

Yes, a school. I didn't mention anything about foreign language, but many schools do teach foreign language, so perhaps that would be part of the curriculum. FPS doesn't have anything to do with the FSU grant, or the Marist Center. McCauliffe Charter is growing, maybe they would think about looking at Marist? Also, I would be thrilled to see a math and science charter school in Framingham.

Good idea, Jim. I'd love to send my kids to a school that teaches primarily in a foreign language.

Did I read that we have many empty units at the Over 55 complex at the corner of Edmunds and Water, or did I dream that? I did not know we needed more over 55 units. Umh.
