Framingham Driver, 21, Remains Hospitalized Post Rollover Crash
Police identified the driver today.
A Framingham man injured in a rollover crash on Route 9 in Westborough last Sunday remains hospitalized, Westborough Police said today.
Loka Nabil Wahba, 21, of 1640 Worcester Rd, Framingham was transported to the University of Massachusetts Medical Center after the crash, which happened at Route 9 at Bellows Road about 3:57 a.m. Sunday. Wahba received life-threatening injuries in the crash, police have said.
Police had withheld Wahba's name until today, as they awaited his parents' arrival from Egypt.
Wahba was headed east on Route 9 when the 2007 Nissan vehicle "went straight, went off the roadway and struck a hydrant," police say.
"The vehicle then rolled over several times. The operator was not wearing his
seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle."
