Not a good way to start out the new year for one Framingham man and his roommates.
On New Years Day, a Framingham man alledgedly bit his roommate's back and right ankle during a fight at their Framingham apartment, reported FOX25 Boston.
The biting victim suffered a 2-inch gash in his back, according to the Framingham Police report. Following the Tuesday night fight, the victim was taken to and treated at MetroWest Medical Center.
Felix Martinez, 34, of 14 Grenview St. Apt. 217 was charged with four counts of assault and battery, including domestic assault. Framingham Police arrested him on Kendall St. Police also charged him with malicious destruction of property under $250, according to the log.
Martinez pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Wednesday in Middlesex County District Court in Framingham. Prosecutors did not ask for bail and Judge Robert Greco released Martinez. Greco has been ordered to not have contact with his roommates, reported FOX25.
Police said Martinez assaulted his three other roommates when they tried to intervene during the fight at the Greenview Street apartment, reported Fox25. The roommates said Martinez was sitting on the couch drinking liquor when he suddenly got up and attacked one of the roommates for no apparent reason, reported the Boston TV station.

All I can say is, if I ever commit a crime, I sure hope I get Richard Greco on the bench. He lets EVERYONE go!
