A Framingham man has died from injuries from an early Aug. 26 morning rollover crash on Route 9 in Westborough, Westborough Police Chief Alan Gordon said Wednesday.
Westborough Police were notified Tuesday that Loka Wahba, 22, of 1640 Worcester Road, Framingham died from injuries related to the crash, Gordon said in a press release.
Wahba was headed east on Route 9 when the 2007 Nissan vehicle "went straight, went off the roadway and struck a hydrant," police said following the accident. "The vehicle then rolled over several times. The operator was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle."
He was taken to UMass Medical Center in Worcester where he remained in a coma.
Wahba's family, had been trying since the crash to come from Egypt to see him, but encountered visa problems due to unrest in the Middle East.
