POLICE LOG: Crash at First Parish with Baby in Car; 3 Arrests

The following information was supplied by the Framingham Police. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Saturday, Aug. 25: 3 arrests and 6 crashes

12:44 a.m. Framingham Police arrested on Arsenal and Guadalcanal roads Mauricio Darocha, 28, of 149 Franklin St Apt 1R of Framingham. He was charged on warrants. 

5:56 a.m. Report of a motor vehicle breakin at 207 Gordon St. Apt 304.

10:42 a.m. Report of a 2-car crash at U.S. Post office, 330 Cochituate Rd, with no injuries.

11:33 a.m. Report of a 2-car crash in the high speed land of Route 9, at 220 Worcester Rd, with no injuries. 

12:32 p.m. Report of a fight at Summit St. Framingham Police advised.

1:08 p.m. Report of a car crash at 174 Irving St.

1:47 p.m. Report of a car crash at Babies R Us, 1 Worcester Rd, with no injuries.

2:31 p.m. Family problem reported at 270 Winch St. Arrest made.

3:15 p.m. Police arrested at his residence David Salmela, 18, of 270 Winch St. Charged with domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and domestic threats. 

4:08 p.m. Larceny reported at Olive Garden, 1 Worcester Rd.  

4:27 p.m. Medical call 10 Richardson Circle, Unit 2R.

6:50 p.m. Two-car crash reported at First Parish Church, 24 Vernon St. Baby in one car, so Framingham Fire requested as a precaution.  

8:06 p.m. Hit and run reported at Second St.

10:14 p.m. Motor vehicle crash, with no injuries, reported at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Shoppers World.

10:25 p.m. Police arrested Sondra Kosowan, 23, of 1000 Worcester Rd of Framingham. She was charged with possession of a Class B drug with intent to distribute, assessory afte rthe fact stolen property over $250.
