better safe than sorry

Well, would have been nice if they had said something earlier so parents could go retrieve any winter gear that the kids have to bring to school. With today being a Teacher work day and it closing all of tomorrow there will be lots of kids who are without their winter gear. Potter Road was locked up at 3 pm so we couldn't get in to retrieve snow pants, boots, gloves, etc. I know there are a lot of other parents in the same boat. I called the main office and left a message about it. I wish they would at least open up tomorrow morning for a bit so parents could go in and quickly get them.

Kudos to the school admin office! They called me back this morning and I was able to get in and pick up my son's stuff. Guess we will be playing in the snow after all!
