Rest in Peace Ed.

I am truly deeply saddened. He was so robust and in charge at the annual Town Meetings. I send my deepest sympathies to his family.

Deepest Sympathy to Ed's family, and sorrow over the loss to Framingham of one of it's respected community leaders.

I consider Edward Noonan a good friend and a good moderator , my heartfelt sorrow to his family .

This is very, very sad news. Deepest sympathy to the family.

Whether you agreed with his politics or even his methods, Ed was always the gentleman, was sincere in his dealings and a man of his principles. My dealings with him were always above board, and I enjoyed our relationship, the banter and the knowledge that Ed always stood by his word.

Framingham has lost a true leader, a Town personality, and above all else, a gentleman.

His family needs to be proud of all he did, and the Town should be forever grateful for all he gave us.

...that such a devoted and able man gave so much of his time to the community in which he lived... Priceless...

Agreement or disagreement with Ed's rulings notwithstanding, he gave so much of himself to Framingham and will be truly missed. God bless, and sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

I always saw Ed as someone that always tried to do the best he could and it seems he was always learning and improving on that. Ed always tried to bring respectability to the town meeting and it really showed. It really takes a special person to be a Town Moderator. This is sad news.

Ed was a wonderful mentor to all the new Town Meeting members and friendly face in any crowd. Ed's passing is a real loss to the Town and I will truly miss him. My sincerest sympathies to the Noonan family.

I am so truly sorry for the passing of Ed Noonan. I am a second year town meeting member and how he kept the meetings going really amazed me. I got a chuckle every time someone came up to speak and did not thank him and he would say "Thank you, Mr. Moderator" and they would laugh and thank him. My sincere condolences go out to his family. I will miss him at the town meetings. This is sad. Rest in Peace, Mr. Moderator.

Ed was very passionate about Framingham and Town Meeting.
Back from vacation and so sorry to hear the town has lost someone who gave so much of himself and his time to his community and his country.
As moderator, he brought respect to Town Meeting; and those on both sides of an issue knew he believed in the form of government he resided over, even if they didn't agree with his decision.
My sincere sympathy to his family.
