Framingham Town Manager's office confirmed that the town will not go against tradition, and trick or treating will stay on Halloween night.

Framingham, unlike some communities in MetroWest does not set trick or treating hours.

It is at the parents' discretion. Typically, families go out at dusk and finish by 8 p.m.

This will be the second year in a row that trick or treating will happen with some residents without power. Last year, there was 5-6 inches of snow and 17% of the town was without power after the Snowtober storm.

As of 2 p.m., 5% of Framingham is without power due to Hurricane Sandy.
