Giving the Gift of Art

The Danforth Museum has a gift shop brimming with unique holiday gift ideas.

The museum shop inside the Danforth Museum houses a huge variety of artistic gifts.  The small space is overflowing with pottery, glassware, pewter, textiles, cards, paintings and photography. Its  supports the mission of the Danforth Museum  to showcase contemporary American art.

The artists, most of whom are local to New England and Framingham, which sell their work through the museum shop, donate a portion of the proceeds back to the museum.

Recently FraminghamPatch visited and spoke with Danforth Museum's Visitor Services and Retail Manager Martha Phillips. She is seeing a trend on artsy, yet functional gifts. A gift from the Danforth brings art into everyday use.
