Brewing Up a Celebration

Framingham-based Jack's Abby Brewery celebrated its 1-year anniversary with a party at the British Beer Company in Framingham Thursday night.

Framingham-based Jack's Abby Brewery celebrated its 1-year anniversary with a party at the British Beer Company in Framingham Thursday night.

Eight beers were on draft along with a cask. They included Jabby Brau, Hoponius Union, Leisure Time Lager, Red Tape Lager, Framinghammer Baltic Porter, Biere de Garde (aged in white wine barrels), Smoke & Dagger Peanut Butter and the brewers newest creation - India Pale Lager.

Founded and operated by the Hendler brothers - Jack, Sam and Eric, the brewery offers free tours and beer tastings Thursdays and Fridays from 3 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays noon to 5 p.m. There is also a store at the brewery.
