IMAGE GALLERY: BLOCKS Preschool Fun Day

Visit from a Framingham firetruck was a big hit with the Framingham Public School preschoolers.

BLOCKS Preschool celebrated its Annual Fun Day, earlier this month, with lots of fun activities for  students and the staff.  This event, partly sponsored by BLOCKS PTO, included a petting zoo with goats, chickens, rabbits and alpacas; a huge inflatable slide and bouncy house; an obstacle course; sports such as soccer and golf; a planting station where the kids planted flowers and vegetables to take home; facepainting and tattoos; and yummy popcorn and sno-cones!

We also had a visit from a Framingham firetruck, where the kids were able to explore the truck.

More than 30 students from Walsh Middle School volunteered their time to help us with the activities.

Our preschoolers had a fantastic time with the Walsh students.

A special thank you to Busy Bee Jumpers for donating some of the equipment and Home Depot in Natick for donating the planting supplies.

Also, thank you to the Framingham Fire Department for visitng us and letting the kids explore the big red truck!

And thank you to  Walsh Principal Teresa Carney for bringing her students and several teachers to help out."
