VIDEO: C'Mon and Hear the Band [POLL]

Friday night's concert was held at Bowditch Field, instead of the Common. Tell us in the poll where you would like to see the concerts.

The U.S. Air Force Band of Liberty performed Friday night, as part of the Framingham Summer Concert series.

It was the first concert of the series and the heat and humidity did not deter the crowd. (The first concert of the series was cancelled due to a storm.)

The band played Gershwin, ragtime and John Philip Sousa marches.

While the concert was held at Bowditch Field, the rest of the Friday night summer concerts will resume at Framingham Centre Common, the regular venue for the free concerts.

This Friday night it is the return of Off the Hook, an oldies band. Concert starts at 6:30.

Don't forget to stop by the Framingham Patch tent and say hello.

So, I spoke to someone at Parks & Rec at tonight's concert, and they said they had to hire 8 people to work parking to do the concerts at Bowditch? Anyone know why?
