The Framingham Girl Scouts 100th Anniversary Committee wants to thank all the patrons who supported our car wash on Saturday.
We raised $600 towards our trip to Washington DC in June. The girls washed more than 100 cars during the 5 hours.
About 10% of the 450-plus Girl Scouts in Framingham will travel to the nation's capital to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts with thousands of Girl Scouts across the United States.
The Committee also wants to thank CJ's Northside Grill owner Chris Gagen who allowed us to hold our car wash in his parking lot.
Gagen told the committee this was the busiest car wash he has seen. At times, there were four cars being washed, with a half dozen more cars waiting.
If anyone would like to contribute to the Framingham Girl Scouts trip, but could not attend the car wash; they can write a check to "Framingham Girl Scouts 100th Anniversary Fund" and bring it to a TD Bank location in Framingham.
