Stopped by the Keefe Technical School and although voting was slow, it was busy with campaigners, including both write-in candidates for Planning Board - Stephanie Mercandetti and Ned Price.
Campaign workers for Heather Connolly also were there waving to cars. Connolly is running for a one-year seat on the Framingham School Committee against Don Taggart.
Polls are open until 8 p.m. For more information on the ballot and today's town election, click here.

The back door politics of Framingham and its control by the Democrats is truly amazing. Accoding to Steve Orr and his opinion in his web post, which proved to be very as you would say "connecting the dots", leads this Stephanie lady to David Magnani, who is part of the Democratic pull in this town.
A lot of people part of the Democratic pull in Framingham are in the backround. David Magnani, John Stephanini to name a few. They are in the backround in my opinion because they were the roots to a lot of problems in Framingham going back to the late 80's and early 90's.
THEY were responsible for where the town rest NOW. So what do they do? They KNOW the Rizoli's are still here, still fighting to fix what THEY messed up. I doubt they will confront us in the open about it. Bring it on.

It is funny how you say you are fighting to fix things that are messed up. What are you doing that we can take note of? To make this town better, we need to stop arguing and start working together! We will achieve nothing if we don't listen to one another. This is not just your town! It is home to many people who have taken active roles in community service. Why would you criticize someone for stepping up to take on a position that requires a lot of volunteer time? Your shallowness is evident if you mock someone that you do not even know. I applaud Ned and Stephanie for taking the initiative to step up and volunteer in their community. I believe that your insults to Stephanie are unfounded. I am sure you have not even had the courage to talk with her. I am really fed up with people who criticize so much but are not willing to be a part of the solution. Ned and Stephanie are trying to be part of the solution. Bravo to them and to all the people who work so hard at making this town a better place for EVERYONE!!!

Sadly, voting today is low in Framingham.
I was #77 to vote at Precinct 15 at 3 p.m. my husband was #97 at 5:30 p.m. in the same precinct.
I don't think any precinct in town will hit 500 votes and some will be lucky to hit 200 votes.
Please take time today to vote - polls close at 8 p.m.

Margaret.....To make this town better you have to listen to those who have figured out what the problems are and how to fix them.
The town is on a spiral downhill and the majority have not listened to what some of the problems are, never mind the solutions.
Sure we criticize, but we do so in hopes that those doing the wrong things smartin up and correct them.
This has not been the case in Framingham so far. Those running the show have failed to head the signs and we are now in big trouble.
It's hard to correct a town when the leaders are run by a political machine that has an agenda that benefits just a few.
Time to take the town back, the problem is...... the foxes have taken over the hen house.
The Democrats have run the town into the ground and that is a fact......
All this has happened on their watch.
Time for them to listen to some of the ones who see what's going on, and have the solutions to correct it.
