Final Day of Immigrant Photography Exhibit at Library

Today, July 31 is the last day to view the traveling photography exhibit by Mario Quiroz, highlighting Immigrants’ contributions to Massachusetts.

Zoya was born in Moscow in 1924. Because of anti-semitic events, the family relocated to Germany. Then, after the Nazis' ascent to power moved to Belgium. When World war II broke out, the family emigrated to America. She was 16, and spoke four languages. Zoya was one of the first PhDs in education in the United States.

Today, July 31 is the last day to view the traveling photography exhibit by Mario Quiroz, highlighting Immigrants’ contributions to Massachusetts.

There was a reception for the exhibit on Thursday, July 19 at the main Framingham Library. The exhibit hangs in the lobby of the library.
