Jewish War Veterans Memorial Service
The public is invited, and encouraged to bring chairs to Sunday's service.
There will be a Jewish War Veterans Memorial Service on Sunday, Sept. 16 at 9:30 a.m. at the Framingham/Natick Jewish Cemetery at 40 Fairview Ave.
The public is invited. There will be a procession into cemetery, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance, opening prayer by the chaplains, followed by a tribute to the veterans, placing of the three wreaths at the Veterans Memorial, Holocaust Memorial and the Children’s Memorial.
Then Chaplain David Dresner leads the service with El Moly Rachamim followed by We Remember Them.
This will be followed by the reciting of the names of the 49 Jewish servicemen killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Next, the reciting of the names of the 147 veterans interred at the cemetery.
The service will close with Chaplain Dresner leading everyone in the recitation of Kaddish.
