Letter: Brown for Senate Signs Destroyed, Stolen in Framingham
Sanchez: "This community should speak loud and clear that this type of behavior is unacceptable."
We have now gotten notice that at least four (Sen. Scott) Brown signs have been either stolen or trashed. One was at my own home.
This is a disgrace; there are some people who oppose Mr. Brown and have no respect for free speech rights.
Town committees should make it clear that this behavior is intolerable.
Last election cycle, I also had a sign for Ned Price. A car actually drove onto my property at night and destroyed the sign - twice. Car marks were left behind.
This community should speak loud and clear that this type of behavior is unacceptable.

When I ran for office in town my signs were stolen too.
That's why I never bothered with spending a lot of money on signs.
We seem to have some destructive Democrats in the town that have nothing better to do.
They would hate to lose their control of this town by having a non Democrat win.
At least they can be proud they have run the town into the ground and will continue to do so with their lawless ways of handling things.

I had an Elizabeth Warren sign taken as well. And previously during town races I've had signs stolen. It is sad when people so fervently support their own candidate that they feel the need to destroy other people's property. (Or maybe it is supporters wanting their own sign so badly they can't wait to get one from the campaign and just take someone else's).
