Framingham Patch: Marcus -- talking about student feedback
Student cons -- feel like they are excuses - Strader
Cons - technical issues, have to focus, can't do it (homework) on the bus, distracted by other technology, want more from Khan Academy, didn't like they could not ask questions immediately ( but this is gone now)
Pros - grades have not gone down, kids who were B/C are now doing better and kids who were D/F are a D. they like that they could work at their own pace, student can skip ahead, if they choose.
Monday April 23, 2012 8:36 Framingham Patch
8:38
Framingham Patch: teacher feedback
Marcus - technology issue, lot of work for one teacher to do, perhaps split notes not a perfect fit for every student, not sure something exists for every students.
With notes, can move in smaller increments and explain things more clearer

Pros -- class time is more relaxed, used to be had to get through the notes before the bell rings. class time is more efficient, do better problems
teacher become more of a facilitator than an instructor at the board.
Now can work with the students
