Man Grabbed Cash Register During Brazilian Bakery Robbery; No Arrest Made

Framingham Police asking those with any information about the robbery to call them at 508-532-5924.

As Framingham Patch previously reported on Wednesday, Pao Brasil Bakery was robbed by a masked man Wednesday night.

Framingham Police Lt. Ron Brandolini said the man "brandishing what appeared to be a handgun covered in a sock" grabbed one of the two registers and ran out of the store.

Police later found the register and a fake handgun, wrapped in a sock, next to Silton Glass, by following a trail of coins.

The suspect, who escaped the scene Wednesday night, was  described by witnesses as wearing a camouflage jacket over a grey hooded sweatshirt, with blue jeans and black sneakers. He is believed to be a white male, said Brandolini.

It unknown how much money was taken from the popular Brazilian bakery, located on Route 135.

Anyone with any information is encouraged to call Framingham Police detectives at 508-532-5924.
