Mid-March Snowstorm to Hit During Tuesday Morning Commute

Snow is set to make for a slippery Tuesday morning commute; but don't expect to see school buses, as Framingham Public Schools are closed Tuesday.

With a forecast 4 to 8 inches of snow set to hit Framingham in the early morning, the Tuesday morning commute could be a slippery one.

"Tuesday will be a stormy day across the region with snow for just about everyone during the morning rush," writes WHDH Channel 7 Meteorologist Jeremy Reiner on the Channel 7 Weather Blog.

While the skies are clear today, the cities and towns along 495 will see 4 to 8 inches of snow overnight and through mid-day Tuesday.

Unlike most March storms, writes Reiner on the blog, the temperatures will remain cold for the rest of the week. So do not expect the snow to magically dissapear in one day.
