So since Framingham, and neighboring Natick, no longer have fireworks; where is your favorite place to watch the fireworks?

I like to watch the "fireworks" on Patch when I post my opinions.
I guess there are some that don't want you to have an opinion that goes against the
rank and file here.

I think it is such shame that fram and natck don't have fireworks. Who wants to travel all the way to Boston. I'm 34 and had been going to the firework display since I was little. More people are going to put themselves and kids in danger and do them there selves.

@Kristina - I always watched them here at either the Christmas Tree shop parking lot or the Kohl's parking lot until they weren't offered anymore.
Now we head to either Walpole or Sharon; but I know a lot of people in Framingham go to Needham and Newton too.

Times have sure changed. We used to have parades too but the attendance wasn't worth the bother. Seems like when it comes to American Patriotic type celebrations people don't seem to care around here anyway. On the other hand.... When the Brazilian's win a World Soccer championship, you will have 10,000 people in the streets in a matter of an hour, no kidding.
So what does that show? You got to give them credit for their cohesiveness as a people. Americans would rather stay home and watch American Idol, or some dumb game show then get together for some American event.
Maybe the Americans see the folly of the Patriotism, in the form of hypocrisy of the Govt. as they (govt.) sends a message out to the people that they don't care either, as they don't stand up for anything themselves.
There is no rule of law and corruptions reigns over all aspects of society.
What is there to feel Patriotic about these days? The country has been watered down to a a salad bowl of ethnic groups that don't even care about America.
I suppose I can't blame them when they see all the corruption and inequality of the people here what's to love. But they keep coming because there is a buck for them to be made here. We'll take your money but nothing else.
