Onyango Obama Fights to Stay in Framingham; Deportation Hearing in December

Onyango Obama, who admitted to a judge sufficient facts in an OUI arrest in 2011, is fighting deportation to Kenya.

Obama, who is the uncle of President Barrack Obama, is scheduled for a deportation hearing on Dec. 3.

Obama, is a a Kenyan national, who was ordered to be deported in 1992.

Framingham Police arrested Obama on charges of driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in August 2011.

He agreed to the facts of the case in March 2012, meaning he admitted police had enough evidence to convict him.  The case was continued without a finding for a year, but the judge ordered Obama give up his license for 45 days.

Obama is fighting to stay here under a federal immigration law that allows permanent residence for illegal aliens who entered the U.S. before 1972 and have demonstrated “good moral character, reported the Boston Herald.

“Everybody wants to stay in America,” Obama’s lawyer, Scott Bratton, told the Boston daily newspaper. “Hopefully on Dec. 3,
the judge will agree he’s entitled to permanent residence in the United States.”

Obama appeared in immigration court Wednesday before Judge Leonard I. Shapiro, who granted asylum to Zeituni Onyango in 2010 - the aunt of the President of the United States.

Onyango Obama is the half brother of the president’s late father. He has lived in the U.S. since coming from Kenya as a teenager for school. He lives in Framingham and works at Conti Liquors.

Obama has held a Massachusetts Driver's license since sometime in the 1990s. The state's registry has said it is not currently required by state law to check immigration status before issuing a license. Obama has a valid Social Security number, even though he is in the United States illegally.

Hmmmm, could the president be pushing immigration reform to keep his uncle in the states? Why was he allowed to stay here so long? This is ridiculous. The law states that those who break the law and are here illegal should get deported - send him back!

More hearings! Utterly ridiculously! They don't have this many hearings when it is a Brazilian who breaks the law. Just send him back to Africa! They send them back to Brazil. Oh but then again they don't have a president as an uncle!!!!!!!

This guy is not going back to Kenya. The court will give him citizenship to stay just like they did for Obama's Aunt Zetuini (even though she had supposedly been deported ten years ago, but ignored that court ruling, and refused to leave). She stayed here and has been living on disability, welfare, public housing, and all the entitlements available in Boston, and she still is. Living off your dime for over ten years and atill going strong. This guy will be too.
