Police Log: Drug Busts, Arrests

Tuesday, Aug. 7

12:02 a.m.: were unable to locate the source of a suspicious person on Bishop Drive.

2:16 a.m.: Police responded to a report of a group on Riner Street and Water Street. Jason O'Reilly, 23, of 532 Water St., was arrested and taken into protective custody for alcohol.

12:33 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident involving four cars with no injuries on Avon Street and Hollis Street.

2:00 p.m.: Identity fraud was reported on Edgell Road.

2:26 p.m.: A hit and run accident was reported at a parking lot on Worcester Road.

6:01 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a family problem on Dennison Avenue.

8:15 p.m.: Police responded to a narcotics investigation on Temple Street. James Rouse, 20, of 21 South Rd. in Sturbridge was arrested and charged with drug possession and being in the presence of heroin. Kelli Shay, 21, of 198 Boston Post Rd., in Marlborough was arrested and charged with drug possession for heroin.

10:58 p.m.: Police responded to a report of an alcohol problem at . Dana Andrews, 63, homeless was arrested and taken into protective custody.

11:03 p.m.: Police responded to the scene of a domestic problem on Mill Street. Arthur Cousins, 48, of 198 Mill St., was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery and witness intimidation.

Wednesday, Aug. 8

12:10 a.m.: Daniel Hall, 28, of 2 Coburn St., was arrested on Clifford Street and charged with drug possession with intent to sell , possession within a school zone, three counts of drug possession of heroin, cocaine, and suboxone. Ashley Whitelaw, 20, of 108 Howe St. in Marlborough was arrested on Coburn Street and charged with being in the presence where heroin is kept.

12:12 a.m.: Police responded to a 911 call on Franklin Street. Alvaro Navarro, 37, of 269 Franklin St., was arrested and taken into protective custody.

4:49 a.m.: Police responded to a report of a disturbance at on Lincoln Street. Lynda Bombard, 47 of Worcester housing was arrested and taken into protective custody for alcohol.

11:10 a.m.: Police responded to the scene of a sudden death on Jodie Road.

4:30 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a domestic problem on Beaver Terrace Circle. Frank Gomez, 30, homeless was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery, domestic threats, disorderly conduct and kidnapping of a minor or relative.

6:26 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a domestic problem on Beaver Court. Carmen Gonzalez, 36 of 18 Beaver Court was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

8:05 p.m.: Renato Valadares, 30, of 18 Bishop Dr., was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery.

9:50 p.m.: Suspicious activity was reported at on Frederick Street.
