POLL: Do You Think Is Is Safe To Trick or Treat in Framingham?
About 13% of the town is still without power. Several roads still have downed trees or wires from the weekend snowstorm. Town does not plan to cancel Halloween. Will you let your child(ren) trick or treat tonight?

We should welcome families from Marlboro, Sudbury and so on, whose trick/treating has been cancelled/postponed!

Halloween belongs on a weekend. If it's on a Saturday the little ones can go out before it gets dark. I don't think it's a big deal if it's actually dark at night. Probably the parents can carry flashlights.

Rescheduling is stupid. If the power goes out on Christmas will that be canceled too? Take the kids to a neighborhood with power. It'll be good to get out of the dark and have some family fun.

Framingham, Natick & Ashland are 3 communities in MetroWest that are ALLOWING trick or treating. Framingham is advising parents to use their discretion while out, as some trees and wires are still down.
